May 1st is just around the corner which means another commercial lease payment will be due. So if:
-You didn't receive any of the SBA relief funding or any local community funding
-You didn't seek or agree to a longer short term rental payment relief plan
-Your revised business plan hasn't gone according to plan to generate revenue
-Or simply haven't spoken with your Landlord due to fear or a belief your cash reserves will last
Now is the time to take action and have that conversation with your Landlord to work out a mutual arrangement.
It may be also time to consider subleasing some or all your current space, right sizing, blending and extending amongst other considerations in order to operate your business moving forward until business returns to some type of predictability and normalcy.
